Harry James “Jim” Rowe passed away October 22, 2015, finally losing his long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born to Frank and Marie Rowe on April 15, 1945, in Alliance, Nebraska. He was married to Charlotte Mencl on October 15, 1969 in Yankton, South Dakota. He served in the Navy from 1964 to 1968 during the Viet Nam conflict and was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of the Teamsters and was employed by United Parcel Service for about 27 years. In his retirement, he worked as an enumerator for NASDA for a few years.
