Helen was in a Bible study with several of
us in recent years at Polly's house. I thought so highly of Helen. Such a classy lady. She was ageless to me. She loved the Lord and all knew it.

Thank you for posting her obituary in the Lincoln newspaper. Otherwise I would never have known. I'd guess she was a blessing in all your lives as well as mine.

Blessings to all in her family.

Helen was a dear dear friend of myself and my mother-in-law Theresia Opp. We used to go out for lunch many times after church on Sundays. She always just ordered soup she had a very light appetite :-) We were so glad to of made it to her 90th birthday party it was so fun seeing everyone and all her friends and family. She was a dear sweet amazing godly woman. And now she’s in heaven with my mother-in-law Theresia who passed away in March. Just before Theresia passed she wanted me to go to church and try to find out how Helen was doing as she was unable to go to church at that time . it’s amazing to think they are now in heaven together.

Helen was a dear friend from church that always sat in our area so that we greeted one another every week. I would visit her when she had surgery/rehab time, and so enjoyed the times we would talk. One of my first impressions of her, though, was years ago when my sons served at Timberlake Ranch Camp in the summers. I had driven them out and saw Helen driving in with grandchildren! I was so impressed that an older woman would take to those back roads in order to allow her grandchildren the opportunity to spend a week at "church" camp. That probably was why I began noticing her more often and then forming the friendship we had at church. My husband and I visited her several times at the Monarch, until COVID forced us to stop. We will dearly miss her sweet smile and caring ways.

Helen was such a wonderful and sincere person! I had the privilege of doing childcare for two of her grandsons. Not enough words to describe what a special lady. Her faith and positive presence truly touched everyone she knew. RIP Helen.❤💔😢

I worked with Helen at Nebraska Boiler for about 10 years - I was just out of college and she was a great teacher/friend. So many laughs amongst the “girls” that worked there - in all departments! She was a very sweet lady. My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this sad time.
