Illa Mae Gilliland, 89 of Lincoln, Ne and formerly of Brookfield, IL passed in Lincoln on May 25, 2026. She was born on December 31, 1936 the daughter of Martin and Bertha (Kuhn) Baade in Roca, Ne. She worked for many years as a factory work for Control Data, where she met her husband, Fred Gilliland, who preceded her death. Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Angie Runyan (Avo) and Stacey Runyan, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. No formal services are scheduled at this time. Illa will be laid to rest next to Fred at the Omaha National Cemetery, Omaha, Ne.
