Iris June McLaughlin, beloved daughter of Jayden and Trinity McLaughlin, entered this world at 4:03 p.m. and returned to God's loving arms at 4:33 p.m. on January 20, 2026. She lived her brief, but precious life surrounded by the love of her parents. Though her time with us was measured in minutes, her tiny presence reminded everyone of the beauty and fragility of life, and the depth of a parent's love.
Iris June is is survived by her loving parents, Jayden and Trinity McLaughlin; her grandparents, John and Holly McLaughlin, and Dee Jay and Christy Burton; her aunt, Madeline Burton, and uncles, Landon and Owen McLaughlin; and many other family members and friends whose lives she touched in her short time here.
A memorial service to celebrate her life and offer comfort will be held at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. All who loved her are welcome to attend and share in remembering the brief but beautiful gift she was. The family appreciates your support and prayers during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family would deeply appreciate donations to help ease the burdens they are facing at this time.
