Jack Allen Fazel

Jack Allen Fazel, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Donald and Jacqueline (Nichols) Fazel in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 28, 1960. Jack was an avid roller skater and worked at the local skating rink over the years where he met his wife, Denise L. (Cookston) Fazel. He also played pool on several leagues. He owned his own painting business, Personal Touch Painting. Jack had a love of music which he passed on to his children and grandchildren. Jack is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Donald H. Fazel, Uncle Larry Nichols, mother-in-law, Katherine R. Cookston. He is survived by his wife, Denise L. Fazel (Cookston), daughter, Jessica L. (Allen) Bourne, daughter Kristin R. (Thomas) Bennett, mother, Jacqueline K. Fazel, brother, Richard C. Fazel, sister, Nichole (Eugene) Grady, father-in-law, Thomas W. Cookston, sister-in-law, Deborah L. (Richard D.) Fields, of Dupo, Illinois, brother-in-law, David L. (Regina) Cookston, brother-in-law, Douglas L. (Lori) Cookston, of Summerset, South Dakota and grandchildren, Steven A. Bennett, Blair N. Bourne, Hattie R. Bennett and Kendall L. Bourne. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 510 South 33rd Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. A private inurnment will follow the celebration of life service. Any memorials please make out to the family.
