Jack grew up in Moab, and moved to Lincoln, NE, where he attended school and met Rosemarie. Jack was a hard-working man, who provided for his family working in construction. He started his own successful construction business, Jackson Construction. He specialized in concrete. When he was not working, Jack loved riding his horses, playing and singing old country-western songs on his guitar, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed meeting his family and friends for breakfast at his favorite hot spot, Russ's B&R. There was something about breakfast with Jack that made you feel special. Jack was always there to help anyone in need, even up until his last days. As big of a man as Jack was, the love in his heart was much bigger.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe and Jim Jackson; sisters, Opal Lemon and Alice Olsen; and granddaughter, Army Sgt. Jessica Jackson.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemarie (Kraus) Jackson; sister, Eleisa Eccer; 5 children, Melony Jackson, Laurie Jackson, Joe Jackson, Jim Jackson, Jackie (Tom) Hinzman; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
