

Jack Elton Stiles was called to heaven on July 14, 2015, Born May 5, 1932 to Floyd & Garnet Stiles, in Jefferson County, Iowa. After graduation from Mount Pleasant High School in 1950, Jack enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Jack married Nancy Rogers on September 7, 1952. Upon completing his tour of duty, he earned his BA from Iowa Wesleyan College and then a Masters Degree in Health Administration from Cornell University in Ithaca NY. For the next 32 years Jack enjoyed serving in administrative positions in several hospitals, including St. Elizabeth Community Health Center in Lincoln, NE, from 1970 -1985. Jack & Nancy retired to Tucson, AZ in 1993, where they resided for 18 years. While residing in Tucson, Jack served as the Executive Director of Arts Express. In 2011 they relocated back to Lincoln. Jack is survived by Nancy, his wife of 62 years; daughter Margret (Mark) Neish; sons Kent (Adell) and Mark (Theresa) Stiles; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and another expected soon. Mr. Stiles’ parents, sister, brother and two infant grandsons preceded him in death. Jack was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and the United Methodist Church, where he served as a Stephen Minister. The family requests that memorials be sent to Arts Express, PMB 139 4729 E.
