James "Jim" William Macdonald, age 77, resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, died in his home, on May 3, 2025. He was born to James H. and Martha I. Macdonald (Keltner) on July 8, 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was married to E. Gayle Metzler on January 19, 1969 in Tekamah, Nebraska. He was employed as a Material Test Technician at Benesch, until recent retirement.
He is survived by son James G. Macdonald; Daughter Angela and Josh Whittenburg; son David M. Macdonald; Daughter Elizabeth and Adam Rabago; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Preceded in death by beloved wife, E. Gayle (Metzler); son William Preston Macdonald.
