James “Jim” L Menefee Jr., 71, of Lincoln passed away November 8, 2014. Born September 1, 1943 in Iowa to James “Layton” and Dorothy Menefee. Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1964. He married his wife Marcia in 1966. He was employed by BNSF for 38 years and retired in 2004. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter Janet and his parents. Survivors include his wife Marcia, daughters Michelle (John), Carla (Roger), Son-in-law Andrew and four grand children. Brother’s Ed (Shirley) and Tom; sister Pauli, brother-in law Gary (Laurene), sister-in-law Betsy (Gary), nieces, nephews and many cousins. Funeral Service: 12:30 p.m. Thursday November 13th at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th Street.
