Janice Mae Tomsyck, age 101, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. Janice was born June 5, 1920 to Arnold and Bell (Bauersock) Volzke in York, Nebraska. She graduated from Waco High School in 1938. Janice was united in marriage to Larry Tomsyck in 1944. She was a secretary for the Nebraska National Guard until her retirement in 1980. Her favorite hobbies included traveling, cards, bowling, collecting Dickens Village, and collecting antiques.
She is preceded in death by, her parents and husband, Larry.
A visitation will be held from 1-2pm Friday, September 3, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 2 pm Friday, September 3, 2021 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln. No flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences to www.lincolnfh.com.
