Jeffrey Jon Grenseman

Jeffrey Jon Grenseman, 59, passed away at his home in Lincoln on February 21st, 2019. Jeff was born on July 22nd, 1959 at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up in Lincoln, graduating from East High in 1977. Jeff’s love of old cars was evident from an early age, with his dream car being a 1955 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible. Following in his dad’s footsteps, he also had a love of “all things John Deere”, spending plenty of time on those old Johnny Poppers.

Jeff is survived by his mom, Betty and his sister, Jill. He also leaves behind extended family and countless friends from his days at K&Z Distributing, the Post Office and U-Stop. Jeff really enjoyed being in a job where he could talk to people, even if just for a few minutes. Jeff is preceded in death by his dad, Jon, who passed away exactly six months prior. That might have just been the time Jon needed in heaven, to find the perfect spot on the tailgate of an old dusty pick-up, so that father and son can be sitting together once again.

The family has chosen a private service, and suggests any donations to The American Heart Association (heart.org) or to a charity of your choice, in Jeff’s name. Also, Jeff’s Facebook page remains open and all are welcome to post memories and thoughts there.
