o Anne always supported me in all my endeavors to include being a junior cheerleader on my high schopl basketball team.  She was my most ardent supporter when l joined the arm reserve program.  Joanne always had words of encouragement to network of friend s enen greeting Wal-Mart employees with "hi darling ".  Joanne, i may not have said l love you enough but everyday you were alwyss in my heart.  I will miss your greeting "hi my sister".  See you later alley gator.

    You and I never liked saying “goodbye “. We always knew we would see each other again. It was always”Hey Darlin “ or See you later gator”. 
I’am so grateful for your long time friendship and also how you taught me what was important so many times. The thing is that you never took any credit for how many times your words carried me through the difficult times. 
To say I will miss you beyond measure is a given. 
I love you my dear friend. Your infectious laugh will be with me forever. And so,

About 35 years ago, we got new neighbors in Norfolk, right next door. I walked over with a plate of cookies and introduced myself, and the rest is history.  JoAnne and I were instant friends, and our families spent a lot of time together through the years and watched each other's kids grow up. Lots of memories, that I will keep tucked in my heart.  Then six of us girlfriends, became a circle of friendship, and waltzed thru many years, of spending time,  coffee, lunch,  crafts, playing cards, going out of town,  and our special girls weekend once a year.   We have so many stories and laughs.  In 2007 we moved to Loveland,  and 3 years later,  JoAnne and Kenny moved here  to be close to their son's.   Not in a million years did we think this would happen, but they moved two houses down from us.  Neighbors again!! Yeah!!,  I can't tell you the number of times we went back and forth to each other's homes, and enjoyed our time together.  JoJo  was so caring, thoughtful, and had a giggly  laugh that was silly and infectious.  Just one of those people you wanted to be around.   She was a fighter to the end, and I respected her so.  She taught me lessons on how to never give up. She kept a positive attitude always.  She so loved her family, and her Nina and Silvia were the sunshine in her life!  You are loved and will be missed dear friend! Watch over us Jo Jo, until we meet again!  I will never ever forget!

Jo Jo, my other Mom. She was the best I was always welcomed in their home and she made me feel like one of hers. The memories that I 
acquired at  the Gates home  growing  up are way too many to count thank you.  You will be greatly missed. Love your other son Corey Michael Osborne 

Joanne never stopped giggling and it was contagious.  I loved it when she and I went looking for kay. She was so much fun.

JoAnne, I will miss you so much! From our jobs where we worked together, to watching our favorite movie, Sling Blade, every year or two. We all loved your Donald Duck voice and your class act personality. We will miss your " Okey Dokey". 

JoAnne will be greatly missed by all. She had a heart of gold and a smile that made your day.  I've known Jo for a very long time and never did I hear her say unkind words about anyone. We spent many summers at the Gates lake home and Jo always had to get it prepped and ready for us girls.  It had to be just perfect.  JoAnne was always ready for a fun time. Wherever Jo was, there would always  be her laugh. She was a true fighter. Gonna miss you Jo. Love you.

I first met Joanne when we were in high school in Lexington Park, Maryland.  Her brother Jim and I were friends right from the 9th grade and Joanne was as much a sister to me as she was to Jim.  We laughed and joked together.  Both of our families were transferred to Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Virginia, where I spent many weekends in her home.  I remember one time when Jim and I were in his bedroom at night telling 'off-color' jokes.  She could hear us from her bedroom and we could hear her giggling.  Joanne was active in her high school.  We even kept in touch when she moved out west and became a 'stew'.  The last time I saw her was during a visit with Jim in Middleburg, Florida.  I heard about her illness and I only wish I had taken the time to call her.  Always remember to take time for your dear friends.

I only meet Joanna and Kenneth once when she came to the bowling alley when she was visiting Carla.  She acted like she new me forever!  Very sweet lady.  I'm sure she will be really missed.  My condolences to her family.

Hello Jo what’d ya know? That was always how I would answer Jo when she would call. One time I didn’t answer that way and she said “ am I in trouble ? You didn’t answer the right way!” It was always our joke. Such a sweet friend who crocheted afghans for all our grandchildren just because she wanted to. She was always willing to help young people out with items for their apartments or what ever they would need. She was a giver. Her laughter was infectious and she had the biggest smile ever!! She loved “her Kenny” and her two boys and their families with every fiber of her being. She was always so proud of everyone one of them. So thankful for our years of friendship , our YaYa adventures and all the cabin memories .

I first met Joanne and Kenneth about four years ago in Layton Utah at the bowling alley they had come to visit Carla and then one night came to the bowling alley.
