Joann Woelber age 76 of Lincoln, died Saturday, October 25, 2014. Born in Tecumseh, NE to Herman V. and Velma O. (Bebensee) Kuhl. Joann loved animals, often donating to various animal organizations. She also enjoyed her excursions to the casinos. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor D. Steele; parents; sisters Judy L. McCall, Barbara M. Kuhl. Survivors include her daughter Tammy Hill-Douglas; son, Michael P. Douglas; sisters, Jean A. Hutchinson-Beranek, Joyce E. Gies; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nephew Brian Finney; nieces Dee McCall, Dawn Vontz. Joann’s wishes were for cremation. Inurnment and graveside service will be 9:00AM, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends should meet at gate 2. Memorials to the Capital City Humane Society.
