John M. McCormick age 95 of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his home. He was born on October 11, 1921 in Wolbach, Nebraska to Francis and Mildred (Stark) McCormick. John served in the US Army during WW II. He was a retired teacher. John is survived by his sons, John M. McCormick, Jr; Martin P. McCormick; daughters, Carol A. Ebert; Deborah K. (Rodney) Smith; Pamela J. McCormick; Donna R. Sack; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie (Walla) McCormick; son, Edwin David; infant daughter, Ruth E. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
