John Paul Mockenhaupt, 63, of Lincoln passed away Friday, January 9, 2015. Born August 4, 1951, to Walter and Virginia (Martin) Mockenhaupt. After graduating from Fairbury High School he went to work in the trucking industry for over 30 years, ending with Linweld of Waverly. John is survived by his son Gregory Mockenhaupt (Alison) of Oakland, NE; daughters Tiffany Blackwell (Trent) of Lincoln, Cassey Hladik of Lincoln. John had four grandchildren, Connor, Alec, Riylen, and Ayla. John was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. A celebration of John’s life will be at 10am Friday, January 16, 2015, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14 St., Lincoln, with Pastor Ken McQueen officiating. Cremation, no visitation.
