Muehlhausen, John B. age 89 of Lincoln, died Saturday, May 30, 2015. Born in Lincoln to John and Lena (Albers). John was a retired boiler mechanic. He served during WWII in the US Army. Lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid fisherman. He will be remembered as being a real “MacGyver”, able to fix just about anything. Preceded in death by his wife Ida May, parents, siblings Mildred Mulhallen, Cecilia Van Matre, Lucille Danley and Charles Muehlhausen. Survived by his son Stanton (Yvette Butt); grandchildren Jennifer Muehlhausen Sullivan, John M., Brandon and Kylee Muehlhausen; five great grandchildren; brother Melvin; sister Louise Lustra; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service 3pm Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8pm with family receiving friends from 6-8.
