Judy grew up by Firth Nebr, and attended school there, till the family moved to Lincoln, where she finished her education. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969. She then went out into the working community, married and raised a family.
She retired in January 2021, from University of Nebraska, where she was Test Coordinator for the dept of Students with Disabilities. She loved her job there, especially being able to help the students.
Some of Judy's favorite things she enjoyed was canning with her best friend Kathy. She also enjoyed playing cards and winning at scrabble. She always wanted to travel when she had the chance, especially with family, lots of fun trips and some great camping times. She was always willing to help serve coffee at her church where she attended and loved . She had fond memories of when her and Jerry had a riding program, that helped many children become more confident. She also was always anxious for spring so she could go out and purchase new plants and flowers. She had many good times with her children and grand-children, as she loved seeing them grow up.
We will miss her and all our fun times together.
But as for me, my contentment is not in wealth
but in seeing you and knowing all is well between us.
And when I awake in heaven, I will be fully satisfied,
for I will see you face to face.
