Judy was born on March 19, 1940 to Edwin and Marie (nee Meyer) Orlowski in Leavenworth, Kansas. She attended Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska. On August 14, 1959 she married Fred at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Judy enjoyed music and operated a piano studio from 1979 to 1990. She was a member of the Lincoln Music Teachers Association. She delivered Meals on Wheels, was a member of the Teachers College Women's Club. She was a member of Christ Church, sang in the church choir and attended Bible Studies there.
Survivors include daughter Karen and son-in-law Ron, Omaha, sons Kent, Lincoln, and Bruce, Kansas City; five grandchildren: David; and Daniel, Omaha; Skylar, Lincoln, and Whitney and Collin, Kansas City. They also had great-grandchildren: Jacob, Teagan, Addley, and a niece and nephew.
Graveside service will be on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 1:30 pm meeting at Gate #2 prior to the burial, Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68512.
