Judy A. Kinnan

Judy Kinnan, 59, of Lincoln passed away February 9, 2015. Judy A. Kinnan was born on May 12, 1955 to Earnest and Donna Policky in Lincoln. Judy was a 1973 graduate of Lincoln High School, then attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska. Judy was united in marriage to Dana Kinnan in February of 1975. She worked as an LPN at Lincoln General Hospital, and then went on to be the Assistant Director of Nursing and later on, the Director of In Service at The Ambassador. Most recently, she was employed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Judy loved Husker football; the outdoors, fishing and time spent with friends; but most of all, Judy loved her husband, children, grandchildren and her dogs. Survivors include her husband, Dana Kinnan; children, Erin (Cory) Portner and their children, Cade, Emma and Easton Portner; Bryan (Amber) Kinnan, and their children, Riley and Cooper Kinnan; and Danika Kinnan and her children, Javen and Kena Kinnan; her mother, Donna Policky; her sisters, Debra (Wendall) Roberts and Laurie (Norm) Chrastil; her dogs, Sophie and Izzy and her cats, Kicks and Rose. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Policky. A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be at 12:30 PM on Friday February 13, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to The Family for future designation.
