Kathryn Brumm, 98, of Lincoln, passed away March 2, 2019. She was born April 24, 1920 to Rudolph and Rosina (Maass) Eberly at Bellwood, Nebraska. She graduated from Kearney State College at the age of 18. She taught at one room country schools; was a nurse’s aide at Bryan and retired from the Nebraska Department of Roads. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church for over 50 years. She loved watching Husker volleyball and football. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards with her friends and above all, loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the joy of her life.
Survivors include her children, Dr. Bruce (Patricia) Brumm of Omaha and Clark ( Leah) Brumm of Lincoln; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Brumm, daughter, Karen Ahern and son, Allen Brumm.
Services will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, (6800 S. 14th Street) in Lincoln. A reception will follow at Lincoln Memorial. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
