Lana Sue Ringland

Lana Ringland, 72 of Bennet passed away Saturday July 19, 2014. Lana Sue Ringland was born December 10, 1941 to Rex and Dorothy Wiggs at Magnolia, North Carolina. She worked at Gateway Bank and later retired from Union Bank in Lincoln, Nebraska as the Check Processing Supervisor. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She enjoyed reading, traveling and cooking. Following her children and grandchildren’s activities was her great joy. She was dearly loved and will be missed. Survivors include her husband Ronald Ringland; son - Ronald R Ringland II and daughter-in-law Tami Ringland of Palmyra Nebraska; daughter - Kristin Ringland and son-in-law Steve Sherrill of Lenexa Kansas; grandsons - Dalton Ringland of Lincoln, Nebraska and Dallas Ringland of Palmyra Nebraska; Mother - Dorothy Wiggs of Lumberton North Carolina; Four sisters, 1 brother and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Rex Wiggs. Memorial Services will be Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Bennet Community Church in Bennet, NE. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials have been suggested to Bennet Community Church.
