

Lance Edward Erdman, age 54 of Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016. He was born on January 25, 1962 in McCook, NE to Ed and Sharon Erdman. Lance attended Lincoln Northeast before attending the Job Corps in Chadron, NE where he competed in Golden Glove boxing. Lance worked for many years as a welder at Textron-Cushman in Lincoln and also spent time as a truck driver. He loved working on mechanics and electronics; an ultimate do-it-yourselfer. Other hobbies included hunting, fishing, going to the movies, golfing and playing cards (mostly pitch). Lance was preceded in death by his son Joshua Erdman and both maternal (Wayne and Wanda) and paternal (Edward and Cathleen) grandparents. He is survived by his children, Sonya (Danny), Brandon (Hollyann), Kelsie, Camille; mother, Sharon Johnson (Stepfather Dave Johnson); father, Ed Erdman; brother, Todd Erdman; nephews, Tanner and Talon; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Lincoln Memorial located on 6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512, with Pastor Mike Wooten officiating. Cremation, no visitation.
