LeRoy R. Kumpf, 88, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born in Leigh, NE to Edward and Hulda (Loseke) Kumpf. Former owner of Kumpf Café in Leigh, NE. He managed the Press and Bindery at Metro-Mail for 33 years before enjoying 25 years of retirement. LeRoy was an avid gardener, fisherman, hunter and camper. He also enjoyed Jeep trail trips in the Arizona Mountains and Husker Football. Survivors: Wife of 62 Years, Aletta. Daughters: Barbara (John) Ely of Omaha, Priscilla (Bryan) Dring of Omaha and Pamela (Ray) Seuss of Phoenix. Son: Gary (Deana) Kumpf of Lincoln. Grandchildren: Paul Sundeen, Nick Ely, Danielle and Sarah Dring, Angela (Stephen) Smart, Megan Seuss, Noah and Ethan Kumpf. 3 Step-Granddaughters: Susan Ely, Beth and Josie Loos. 3 Great-Grandsons, Jason and Connor Sundeen and Joshua Smart. Brothers: Carroll and Clarence Kumpf. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Parents, Brothers: Harry and Gordon Kumpf.
