

Lila Mae Sullivan, 95, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025. She was born October 18, 1930, in Chappell, Nebraska, one of 5 children of Art and Ida Roth. Lila was united in marriage to Norman J. Sullivan on January 23, 1951. Their marriage was blessed with four children, daughter Cindy, and sons Kirk, Todd, and Stacy. She and Norman spent the early part of their lives in Cortland, Nebraska, farming, raising livestock, and milking cattle. While in Cortland, she was a member of St. James Catholic Church. They moved to an acreage outside of Lincoln, Nebraska, in the early 80's and eventually to the city of Lincoln. She had an extraordinary work ethic that she instilled in her children. During the past eight years she lived with her son, Todd, and daughter-in-law, Marci, in Lincoln. She will forever be remembered by her family for the wonderfully delicious meals she created, whether it be for large holiday gatherings or small impromptu get-togethers. She was an extraordinary cook and taught all her children and grandchildren to love the art of baking and cooking. It was her passion. Her entire life was dedicated to caring for her family. She was a very kind, loving, and forgiving person.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Rollins, son Kirk Sullivan (Virginia), and son Todd Sullivan (Marci). Grandchildren Matt Sullivan, Katy Sullivan, Lorraine Frankland (Christopher), Sheena Brannan (Josh), Cody Sullivan, and Robyn Sullivan (Morgan), five great grandchildren, brother Larry Roth (Anna Lou), and sister-in-law Colleen Emal.
Preceding her in death are her parents Art and Ida (Stutzman) Roth, husband Norman Sullivan, son Stacy Sullivan, son-in-law Norman Rollins, brother Lonnie Roth, sister Lillian Artz, sister Harriet Grupy, and brothers-in-law Clarence Emal, Jr., Robert Artz, and Everett Behrens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held from to 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 7th, and a funeral service will be at 10:00 am, on Thursday, January 8th, both at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 So. 14th St. www.lincolnfh.com
