Lile Ann Moberly

Lile’ (Bassett) Moberly of Lincoln, Nebraska. Lile’ Passed away Feb 2nd, 2024 in Lincoln Nebraska of a complication during heart surgery. She was the beloved Wife Of Bob Moberly with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Lile’ was born in Linz Austria and was the daughter of the late, 1st sgt. Retired, Roy W. Bassett and Katharina (Jungbauer) Bassett. Lile’ was the widow of Capt. William Robaugh of Valentine Ne who was killed in action in Vietnam. Lile’ and Bob met in Denver, Co and were introduced by mutual friends. Bob and Lile’ were married Oct. 9, 1970 at the Court House in Golden, Colo.

She is survived by her brother, Gerhardt Bassett (Louise) of Bethlehem, Pa. brother in law Adrian Moberly (Sandy) of Osborne KS. Daughter Adrianne Frohn (Doug) Lincoln, Ne Jennifer Smith of Lincoln, Ne. and three Grandsons, Noah, Nathan and Gabriel all of Lincoln, Ne. and many more nieces and nephews.

She is also blessed with many friends throughout the world. Lile’ grew up as an Army brat as her father was a career Soldier. Caring for her family was the most important thing for Lile’

They moved often and Lile’ said it was a great adventure and she enjoyed making new friends. Lile’ never knew a stranger and some years would have someone over that was alone for the holidays.

She even graduated High School at Frankfurt American High School in Frankfurt, Germany.

Services will be held at Calvary Community Church,

on Friday, February 9th, 2024. 4400 N. 1st Street, Lincoln, NE. (1st and Superior st.)

Memorials may be given to Calvary Community Church.
