

Lois M. See entered Heaven’s gates on August 2, 2018. She was born in Park City, UT on June 26, 1930. She graduated from high school at American Fork, UT and married her sweetheart, Claude, on June 21, 1949. Five children were born to this union.
A loving wife, mother and homemaker, Lois was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and remained very active over the years. She was a member of the oldest continuous women’s organization called “Relief Society” established for learning and support for marriage, children, home and family, as well as service.
Lois was an amazing and accomplished quilter and blessed many people with the quilts she had lovingly made. She passed her quilting talent on to her daughter Claudia and granddaughters, Melanie and Taryn. Lois was also a talented seamstress. She created wonderful dresses for her girls, great tailored suits for the boys and helped mend any neighbor’s clothing. She was also the tailor at her and Claude’s dry cleaners for many years in Ainsworth, Nebraska.
Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years and by her son Alan.
Lois is survived by her son Craig and his wife Kelley, son Jeff and his wife Gail, daughter Claudia Kiser and husband Jon, daughter Cathy Smith and husband Jim. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lois had resided at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center for the last few years. The family gives the staff there their warmest gratitude.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day on Tuesday, April 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Church of Latter Day Saints, 3000 Old Cheney Road.
