Marian Frances Nore

Marian Frances Nore, 98, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away February 25, 2025. Marian was born January 28, 1927 in Albion, Neb. to William Fusselman and Ruth (Foreman) Fusselman. She graduated from Albion High School, Albion, Neb., in 1945. Marian married Ole Nore on March 15, 1946. Together they had 3 children, Sharon, Barbara and David. Marian was a member of Sheridan Lutheran Church for over 60 years.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ole; sister Dorothy Belgum. Survived by daughters Sharon McLean, Merriam, KS, Barbara (David) Graen, Champlin, Mn, son David (Robin) Nore, Hickman, Neb., Grandchildren Matthew Graen, Erik Nore, Laura Rapacz, Michael McLean, Benjamin Nore, Stefanie Reddy, Jill Nore and 10 great grandchildren, sisters Joy Haas and Shirley Keller along with nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host of friends.

Marian was very active in Sheridan missions and a member for over 60 years, serving on various committees. She was instrumental in starting deaf ministries at Sheridan, women’s bible study and circle. Helping prepare and serve numerous meals for gatherings of all kinds. Marian was a trained Stephen Minister early in the program. Marian worked at UNL east campus, Continuing Education Center serving as a hostess for several years.

Those serving as pallbearers are Matthew Graen (grandson), Erik Nore (grandson), Michael McLean (grandson), Benjamin Nore (grandson), Ryan Rapacz (grandson-in-law), and Todd Munk (great grandson).

A visitation for Marian will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sheridan Lutheran Church, 6955 Old Cheney Rd, Lincoln, Nebraska 68516, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery, 6700 S. 14th Street. Memorials are designated to Sheridan Lutheran Church in Lincoln, NE or to the family for future designation.
