It was such a PRIVILEGE to visit with Marie❤️ over the years at various Riley family functions. She greeted everyone with a smile that could light up a room, exuding KINDNESS, warmth and compassion. She was so beautiful, inside and out! Marie’s legacy is defined by her strong FAITH in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. She is now in His loving embrace forever, without pain or any earthly worries. Marie was such a LOVING and INCREDIBLE Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother! Rightfully, she was so PROUD of her family who absolutely loved and adored her! What a BLESSING to know such a gracious and lovely lady who dedicated her life to Christ and the well being of her remarkable family! Last year Marie was surrounded by family and friends at the “Celebration of Life” of her beloved son, Chuck; instead of others comforting her, SHE comforted everyone, including me! It was obvious from the comments of those around her that Marie was “the best friend anyone ever could have”; I know because I am so BLESSED that her daughter, Shirley, is just like her! I will always cherish the inspiring and beautiful messages and cards Marie mailed me throughout the years. Although Marie will be so missed, WONDERFUL memories of her love, laughter and joyful spirit in Christ will sustain you ....until you are together with her again in everlasting life. ❤️🙏❤️ My heart goes out to your family during this difficult time!
In Christ, Lynn Rex

So very sorry for your loss. I met Marie when she resided at Legacy Terrace in Lincoln, NE and often dined with her on Fridays with my Uncle Francis Stastny. Marie and Francis were classmates at Dwight Assumption and I smiled hearing their stories. Francis and I also visited with her when she was at Madonna. He was looking forward to going to visit with her at Fallbrook. Francis passed away on 03-16-2020 after a short illness so the classmates are together once again. Like hers his funeral mass is on hold. For friends who know them both his information can be found at Zabka Funeral home, obituaries.. I am sure the nuns who taught them welcomed them at heaven's gates.

What a blessing it was to have God placed Marie in our lives. She was such a sweet, delightful person. Always greeting us with a smile and a cheery "hello". We only knew her for a short time but will cherish the time with her.

Jim and I send you our deepest sympathy. We were blessed to have Marie as our neighbor for 15 years and never have we had a lovelier neighbor. She always had a smile on her face and a friendly wave. Our kitchen sink windows faced each other and I looked forward to her cheerful wave each day. She had such a positive outlook on life, an example for us all to follow. We wish you all peace as you say goodbye to a wonderful woman. God bless you all.
