

Marilyn was born August 5, 1947, in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Ethel (Boydston) Hartman of Beatrice and to Clyde Hartman. She was also blessed with five siblings and many extended family whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, her brother Gerald, sister Betty and nephew Benjamin. Her living sisters Maxine and Barbara live in Pawnee City.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly Harper (Gary), Tina Kacirek (Randy) and Anthony Gabriel. Her grandchildren Sullivan Harper, Delaney Kobza (Josh), Allison Harper (Noah), Maeve Harper, Brigid Harper, Holden Kacirek (Bethany), Liam Kacirek (Michelle), Lucia, Cephas, Maxim, Grace, Jubilee, Rainan and one great-grandson Austin Kacirek.
Marilyn served her family first and foremost. She will be remembered for her generosity and faithfulness, considering others' needs compassionately and with an enduring spirit.
For many years, while raising her children, she managed the offices of Lincoln Insulation and Energy Savers, both of which she co-owned. She endeared herself to coworkers and customers with her welcoming presence, quick wit, sparkling blue eyes and warm smile.
When she wasn't visiting family or working, Marilyn enjoyed Bible studies, traveling, crafting, giving gifts, decorating her surrounding, loving her pets and watering flowers.
Funeral services for Marilyn will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 8, 2026, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
