Marilyn Frances McDowell

She was born in Newport, Maine on September 2, 1928 to Harold and Ernena Huss. She married Robert McDowell on May 3, 1952 in Bangor, Maine. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage together.

Marilyn graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor's of Science degree. She loved to bake and made the best desserts. She was a homemaker, an artistic lady, and she enjoyed Elvis Presley and country music.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters; Patty Rabbass, Peggy (Jessie) Bugaring, grandsons; Patrick (Michelle) McNeil, Michael (friend Pamela) McNeil, Sabrina Suhr (special family), great-grandchildren; Cheyenne (Loagan) Ryan, Samantha and Connor, as well as nephews; Jim (Darcie) Good, and Steve Good.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, sister; Emily Good, brother-in-law; Charlie Good, and son-in-law; Lowel Rabbass.

A visitation will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, located at 6800 S 14th St., Lincoln, NE, 68512, on October 12, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same location on October 13, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm.
