

Marion L. Mueller (Brown), 86, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, passed away on March 15, 2014. She was born March 5, 1928 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Alex and Eva Brown. She married the late Robert L. Mueller in 1956. Marion was an ever present source of love and support to her family and friends. She loved to laugh, especially at herself. She was a kind, gracious, gentle soul, and the world is a better place because of her. Marion leaves a legacy of love, courage, compassion, honesty and faith. She was a voracious reader, clever, and the champion of any family word games. A talented seamstress, she could do anything from sewing on a button to creating beautiful bridal party dresses. Marion enjoyed chronicling family events and accomplishments in her treasured photo albums. She attended Lincoln High School and the University of Nebraska. But most of all, she was our beloved mother. Marion was a valued and respected employee. She worked as a legal secretary for many years at Woods Aitken & Aitken in Lincoln, at GTE in NE and CA, and at Disney World in FL. She and her husband, Bob, lived in Fairbury, Lincoln, Henderson, and York NE; Palm Springs and Los Angeles CA; and Orlando FL. Marion had five daughters, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Irene of Los Angeles CA; daughters Cheryl Dunn of Boca Raton FL; Susan (Steve) Zimmerman of Apple Valley MN; Denise (Don) McGough of Oklahoma City OK; Jenny (Jim) Mueller of Oklahoma City OK; Lisa Mueller of Isanti MN; grandchildren Eva and Erik Danielson of Boca Raton FL; Katie (Owen) Thoele of Minneapolis MN; Jamison Galloway of New York NY; Sari (Jeremy) Anderson of Apple Valley MN; Desiree (Jeffrey) Ahlstrand of Burnsville MN; Lauren and Cassie McGough of Oklahoma City OK; Alex and Emma Mueller of Oklahoma City OK; and five great grandchildren, Lucy and Molly Anderson, Kenzi Ahlstrand, Isabel Thoele, Nathan Mueller. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Mueller; her parents Alex and Eva; mother-in-law, Anna Mueller; her brother Alex and sister Wilma.
