Marvel M. Svoboda, 89, of Lincoln, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. She was born on April 11, 1926 in Haddam, KS to Frank and Frances (Klima) Pavlik. Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Former Teacher, Chocolate Dipper at Russell Stover’s Candy Co. Sales Manager at Montomery Wards where she retired. Member of Capital City Czech Choraliers. Member of Lincoln Lodge #426. Member of Nebraska Czechs of Lincoln. She had a passion for flowers and gardening and her Czech heritage. Survivors: Husband of 67 years; Melvin. Daughter; Karen (Michael) Siefkes. Son: Steve Svoboda. Grandchildren; Justin (Laura) Siefkes. Jay Svoboda. Great-Grandchildren; Shannon and Shauna Siefkes. Preceded in death by: Parents, Sister; Irene Harris and Brother; Malcolm Pavlik.
