Norma Gene Anderson, age 96, died Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Crete, NE. Born April 25, 1919 in Syracuse, NE to Elting D. and Elsie (Staack) France. Survivors: Sons: Mark and wife Kim Stryker of San Francisco, CA; Kent Anderson of Lincoln, NE; Dale and wife Mary Montgomery of Sarasota, FL; Paul Anderson of Lincoln, NE. Daughters: Sara and husband Gerry Velder of Elmwood, NE; and Jane Montgomery of Ames, IA. Nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sister: Sharon Marek and brother-in-law Don Marek of West Des Moines, IA. Preceded in death by her husband, Philip C. and her parents and siblings. Services: Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the United Church of Christ, First Congregational, 440 East 12th Street, Crete, NE. with Pastor Jeffrey Hagaman officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Park, June 25, 2015. Memorials in her name will go to the P. E. O. Cottey College.
