Born on April 9, 1949, in Lexington, Nebraska, Pat was the beloved daughter of Edward and Darlene Gleason. She spent most of her life in Lincoln, where she built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love.
Pat’s greatest joy came from her family and she treasured every moment spent with them. She is survived by her daughter Tammy (John) Schroedl; her grandchildren Tayden (Dominique) Bundy, Scott (Eric) Shemek-Bundy, and Emma Marick; her brothers Jack (Sue) Gleason and Doug Gleason; and cherished family members Terrie Gleason and Jackie Gleason, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Tim Marick, her son Rick Marick, her brother Terry “Lee” Gleason, and her parents Edward and Darlene Gleason.
A loving, caring, and feisty little fireball, Pat had the biggest heart and the warmest presence. Laughter followed her wherever she went. Stories, jokes, and a warm smile came naturally, and everyone around her felt truly loved. Family always came first, without exception.
Time spent with family, playing poker, watching Husker football and game shows, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or working on a solitaire game brought her comfort and joy. Family reunions held a special place in her heart, and those gatherings became treasured traditions she looked forward to each year.
Pat loved without limits. Giving, caring, and endlessly devoted, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and deep family bonds that will continue through generations.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., Lincoln, NE 68512. Memorial donations may be directed to the Capital Humane Society.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
