Ms. Patricia J Varga

Patricia Varga, 55 of Lincoln, passed away Sunday July 27, 2014. Patricia Joyce Varga was born March 10, 1059 to Robert and Mary (Slote) Hoffman at Lincoln, NE. Graduate of Lincoln High School and Lincoln School of Commerce. Devoted mother to her children and aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was employed by the Nebraska Department of Corrections as a Pharmacy Technician. She is survived by her children, Christopher Varga of Lincoln and Melissa Varga of Lincoln; mother, Mary Fern Hoffman of Lincoln; brothers, Duane (Ruth) Hoffman of Texas and Daryl (Teresa) Hoffman of Lincoln; sisters, Romaine (Charles) Chiarelli of Texas; Jenelle (Alan) Duffy of Lincoln; Janet (Larry) Madison of Maryland; Marla (Tom) Mumgaard of Papillion; and Merrilee (Mark) Ediger of Illinois; brother in law, Wayne Phillips of Lincoln; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other special relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hoffman; sister, Judy Phillips; and brothers, Harold “Bud” Hoffman and Kenneth Hoffman. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials have been suggested to Capital Humane Society (2320 Park Blvd) or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (2215 O Street).
