Patricia L Walter

Patricia Lee Walter, 66 passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 after a heroic battle with ALS. Patti was born on May 8, 1949 to Mary Lou and LeRoy "Lee" Walter of Lincoln, NE. Patti graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967 and excelled with her marketing business and as a Realtor. She also worked for several non-profit organizations. Patti volunteered as a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters and was very passionate about helping homeless animals. Patti is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, sister Janet Johnson, brother Richard Walter, three nephews and their families: Darren& Jill Johnson, Andrew Johnson & Jen Stacey and Jared & Heather Johnson, and two great-nephews Lucas & Derek Johnson. Patti was blessed to have several loving cousins and many loyal friends and neighbors. Cremation is taking place and the family is planning to have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
