Patti Lynn Schumann, 73, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on August 1, 2026. A Nebraska native and retired nurse, Patti will be remembered for her generosity, spirited nature and for the lasting impact she made on her family, friends, and community.
Patti is survived by her sister, Betty Noell; her brother, David Schumann; her nephew, Cole Adams; her nieces, Hana Adams, Codie Pearce, and Kayla Campbell; her fur daughter, Pepper Schumann; and extended family members, dear friends, and former coworkers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donnabelle Potter; her father, Harry Schumann; and her sister, Marianne Schumann.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Patti’s life and share memories with those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal rescue or shelter in Patti’s memory, honoring her lifelong love of dogs.
