

Paul graduated from Adams High School at 16 and moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to work at Food King IGA. Then he was drafted into the Army in November 1961 and was stationed in Germany. His job in the service was a Military Police Officer. When he returned to Nebraska he met his future wife Donna Mae (Shew). They were married on November 19th 1966. Paul worked as a Truck Driver for Fleming foods for over 40 years, and delivered to many IGA stores around Nebraska . He was a member of the VFW Post 4626 and American Legion.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Orville, Laverne, Luther, Leonard, sister Bertha; his in-laws Donald and Gertie (Sangen) Shew and great granddaughter Addison Jean Hunter.
Paul is survived by his wife Donna; daughter Denice Arrowsmith; son Scott (Gretchen) Monroe; grandchildren: Tyler (Mercedes) Hunter, Lauren (William) Linn; Connor (Taylor) Churchill; Macy Arrowsmith; Thomas Monroe; great grandchildren: Kitsy, Emerson, Daxton and Bryton; sister Kathleen (Charlie) Holl; sister-in-laws Alberta and Carol Monroe and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. Graveside service will occur Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Family and friends will be meeting at Gate 2 prior to the service. lincolnfh.com
