Ralph Eugene Westcott Jr.

Ralph Eugene Westcott, Jr. Born to Ralph Sr. and Lydia (Maul) Westcott on June 23, 1948. Ralph grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated Lincoln Southeast High School in 1966. Ralph started working at Burlington Northern Railroad right out of high school. Ralph registered with the Navy Reserve and was called into military service in November 1968. Ralph served in the Vietnam war on the USS Oklahoma City. He was honorably discharged in November 1970 and returned to Lincoln and his employment with Burlington where he worked as a Carman for many years. Ralph retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe RR after 41 years, in 2007.

Ralph married Cindy Drake in June 1971 and together they had two daughters, Lianne and Leslie. Ralph and Cindy divorced in 1984. Ralph remarried in April 1989 to Pamelia Westcott (Wickham). Pam passed away in February 2019.

Ralph passed away on June 27, 2021 with his daughters and sisters at his side.

Ralph was a very proud Navy veteran. He loved camping, bar-b-q-ing, his pets and his family.

Ralph is survived by his daughters: Lianne Garza (Gene) of Crete, Nebraska; Leslie Grummert (Matthew) of Fremont, Nebraska; 4 granddaughters Victoria Garza (24), Elizabeth Garza (19), Alysa Grummert (19) and Lilly Grummert (15); and his sisters Nancy Ebben of Lincoln, Nebraska and Christy Blankenship of Papilion Nebraska.
