Raymond A. “Ray” White, 89 of Lincoln passed away September 13, 2014. Born April 9, 1925 in Kansas City, KS to Winfield and Edna (Nelson) White. US Air Force veteran enlisting directly after graduating from high school. Ray and Donna Henry were married August 7, 1944. He worked at Sears from 1988 until retirement. Dad loved a good joke, never knew a stranger and was a Christian in all he did. He will be remembered with love. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Donna; sisters Helen and Marjorie. Family members include his daughter and son-in-law Lynda and Bruce Hocking, son and daughter-in-law Larry and Denise White; grandchildren Stephanie (Rob), Kelley, Skip, J and Brandy; great grandchildren Addison, Kahli and Olivia. Memorial service 11:00AM, Thursday, September 18, 2014 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. Visitation, Wednesday from 4-8PM with family receiving friends from 5-7PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE.
