She attended Southeast High School and graduated in 1965. She then attended Southeast Community College, Doane University Lincoln, and Wesleyan University. Throughout all of her studies, she obtained a Masters Degree. Renna began her working career at Sears, and then worked for many years until her retirement from Doane University Lincoln, as a student counselor.
She loved going to movies, and always kept up on pop culture. She was also an avid lover of crafts, classic cars, books, and music. Renna was active in volunteering at church and her local community.
Renna is preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Gerald Nolley.
Renna is survived by her sister; Sandra (Schoepf) Nolley, nieces; Stacy (Michael) Jorgensen, Chris (Jim) Swanigan, nephew; Mark (Holly) Nolley, and many great-nieces and -nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, 2:00pm, at Lincoln, Memorial Funeral Home. 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. A Dessert Reception will follow the service downstairs in the reception room at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. 6700 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
