Richard Grasmick, age 96 of Lincoln, died Saturday, August 9, 2014. Born in Lincoln, NE to Alexander and Anna (Kahler) Grasmick. He was a former member of the First German Church and the Eagles Club Aerie 147. Army veteran of WWII and retired from the CB&Q railroad in 1979. He was an avid gardener, working in his yard and enjoyed wood carving. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nine siblings. Funeral service 10am, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials to Southview Christian Church or the charity of your choice.
