Rita Theresa (Weber) Schriner passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born June 20, 1942 to Albert and Fern (Bryson) Weber, the third of five daughters. She grew up around the Shickley/Geneva area and attended St. Joseph in Geneva until the family moved to Shickley. She graduated from Shickley High School in 1960. She moved to Lincoln on graduation night and never looked back. In Lincoln she found employment working for the state of Nebraska in the Labor Department. She's married Larry “ Ed” Schriner July 15, 1961. Rita has two children, son, Mark Schriner, and daughter, Kamerah Rangel.
After staying at home to raise her children she re-joined the work force in 1980. She worked for CETA and then went back to the Labor Department where she retired in 2000. Rita spent her “retirement years” loving on and helping raise all of her seven grandchildren. She had many health problems but never let it stop her from living life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother in-law, Lyle Hultman. Rita is survived by her son, Mark (Deborah) Schriner and daughter Kamerah Rangel (finance, Jason Land); grandchildren, Nicolis Rangel, Nathaniel Rangel, Kyhlea (Jordon) Smith, Elizabeth Schriner, Amelia Schriner, Austin Kyhn and Isadorah Schriner; great-grandchildren, Stella Rangel, Kayleigh Chance, Addison Smith, and Kaisen Rico all of Lincoln, NE; sisters, Joan Hultman of Sutton, Suzann (Jerry) Taylor of Sun City AZ, Linda (Don) Daringer and Lila (Bill) Kulwicki of Lincoln.
