Robert E. Butterfield, 90, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was born in Beatrice, NE to Harry and Ottilia (Bickel) Butterfield. U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 38 years. Bob loved his family and gatherings. He was an avid reader and gardener, and he loved to care for his yard and travel. Survivors: Wife: Rufina. Son: Stanley (Nancy) Butterfield. Daughter: Karen (Bill) Blackford. Grandchildren: Allison Bryant, Kristin Butterfield, Melissa Viox, Tom Blackford and Aaron Butterfield. 10 Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Parents, Brother: Donald. Son: Steven Butterfield.
