

Rob was a veteran, having been drafted into the Army during the Vietnam war. He was an active member of his local legion and was proud to perform the gun salute at local veterans’ funerals. Rob enjoyed working with his hands, as a mechanic and later a locksmith. He was always willing to help a neighbor out. He loved driving his 1970 El Camino, and he would proudly show it off at car shows. He was a huge fan of rock music and loved collecting music memorabilia. Rob could make friends anywhere he went, and he deeply loved his family, friends, and neighbors.
Rob is survived by his loving daughter, Brandy Focken; siblings, Judith Schmidt, John (Max) Focken, Joyce Focken, June (Carol) Focken, Russell Focken, Rosalie (Andrew) Beliel; sister-in-law, Vicki Focken; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.s anywhere he went, and he deeply loved his family, friends, and neighbors.
We will be having a graveside service 10am on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Park 6800 S 14th St, Lincoln NE 68512. We will meet at Gate 2 at 9:45 AM.
