Roger L. Wild, 83, of Lincoln, passed away on June 30, 2014. He was born on May 26, 1931 in Council Bluffs, IA. to Leslie V. and Helen R. (McGinty) Wild. U.S. Navy Veteran. He retired from Natkin Service Company after 37 years as a steamfitter. Active in The American Legion on the local, state, and national levels, Roger served as Lincoln Post #3 Commander, Nebraska’s Department Commander, and National Vice Commander. Survivors: Wife, Kathryn “Lynne.” Sons, Curtis (Linda) Wild and Daniel (Candice) Wild. Daughter, Leslie Sue (Michael) Murray. Grandsons, Allen, Steven and Joshua Wild, Brett Murray. Granddaughters, Molly, Anna and Sarah Murray. Abigail Wild. Step-Sons, David and Douglas Malone. Step-Grandchildren, Cameron, William A., Amanda, Kathleen, William D., Acacia and Ciara Malone. Six Step-Great-Grandchildren. Sisters, Shirley Mae Peterson and Barbara Ford. Preceded in death by: parents, Brothers, Quintin, Leslie Jr. and Richard Wild.
