Ronald E Sukovaty

Ronald E. Sukovaty age 83 of Lincoln passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017. He was born on May 4, 1933 in Swanton, Nebraska to John F. and Tillie (Novacek) Sukovaty. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany and was proud to serve his country as a courier. Ron married Dionne Jeannoutot on January 24, 1960 in Lincoln she preceded him in death October 16, 1996. Ron enjoyed his career in sales at Sears in Lincoln for over 30 years. Ron is survived by his son, Randy L Sukovaty of Lincoln; Sherry A. Griffeth and fiancé Carl Zeutzius of Lincoln; grandsons, John Sukovaty of Denver; Scott (Shannon) Gottsleben of Johnstown, Colorado; granddaughter, Jenny Griffeth of Lincoln; great-grandsons, Mason and Hayden. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
