

Samuel worked at Burlington Northern Railroad for 35 years retired on June 23rd, 2016. After his retirement Sam’s knew what his passion was and stared a small yard irrigation business. He could make any yard look like you were walking on carpet. Samuel knew what his passion was, so he started up a yard business. He could make any yard look like “Green Carpet”. He also loved planting, rose bushes, hibiscus plants, Lilies, daisies, hibiscus plant all around his front and backyard that that his yard would look like a botanical garden. Samuel also enjoyed Blues music and would share his new finding of blues music with everyone he knew. Samuel was a wonderful Brother, and a heart made of gold for his Nieces and Nephews.
Samuel is survived by his brother, Jim Whitney wife Cherri Whitney, sisters Cathy Whitney-Vuchetich, Sharon Whitney, Mary Whitney and wife Rose Bear, and Rebecca Whitney. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Friends.
Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, Louis James and Sara Whitney, His brother Robert “Danny” Whitney, sister Jacqueline Whitney, his niece Ashley Whitney.
