Sharon Bea Savidge

Sharon Bea (Wilcher) Savidge, Lincoln, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2021. Sharon was born June 12,1934 in Arnold, NE to Bill and Vera (Billie) Wilcher. She graduated from Callaway, NE High School in 1951; and in 1953, she married the love of her life Chuck Savidge. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Sharon worked as a bookkeeper for the creamery in Callaway, as well as for the Elgin Watch Company, Pegler Sysco, and Chapman & Savidge Refrigeration. Sharon truly enjoyed being with family and especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed her time as an active member of the PTA, the United Methodist Women’s Group, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Sharon was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. She will be deeply missed.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Char (Mike Rittenhouse) of Atlanta

GA, Sue (Joe Livingston), sons Chuck (Lorri), Blake (Marilyn) all of Lincoln, grandchildren, Sean of Fort Worth TX, Kayla and Hallie, both of Lincoln, sister Jackie Young of Callaway, NE, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Chuck, infant son Steven, parents, and brothers Bill and Gary.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
