Shirley (Lundy Root) Fuller, age 84, of Lincoln, died Wednesday Dec. 2, 2015. Born in Bennet, Ne. to Lucille (Johnson) and Theo Lundy on Dec. 6, 1930. Shirley retired in 1992 from Lincoln General Hospital after 25 years of service as an LPN working in several areas, including the nursery which was her final area of service.
Survived by sons Richard Root, Randy Root, both of Lincoln; Daughters Carol (Ron) Cook, Ft. Dodge, IA., Charlotte Hoban, Crystal (Randy) Moore, both of Lincoln. 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; Sister, Virginia Martin; Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Richard (Elizabeth) Fuller, Seattle, Wa.; Nieces, nephews, and a host of good friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; Husband Thomas; Brother Duane; Sons Roger, Rodney, and Robin Root; Son-in-law William Surman; Grandsons Ronald Cook Jr., Justin Root, Eugene Nelson Jr.; Great grandson Cody Ramer.
Services to be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home Dec. 9 at 3:00pm. Reception to follow at the Salvation Army Corp.
